Project Manager



Aecometric Corporation is presently looking for a Project Manager with over 5 years of experience to work closely with Aecometric's team of established project managers and engineers. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing multiple contracts from design through to shipment, ranging in value from one hundred thousand to three million dollars.



Responsibility

* Manage and scheduling concurrent projects from start to finish, on time and on budget
* Manage multiple project teams and effectively interact with multiple departments
* Responsible for project budgets and meeting engineering milestones and deliverables
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat customers
* Deal with county specific standards and codes

Skill Areas:

· Exceptional problem solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills in order to effectively deal with customers

· Experience with management and scheduling

· Experience running projects with solid project management skills dealing with customers and supplier

· Good understanding of sheet metal and pipe fabrication

· Knowledge of ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes

· Solid grasp of material flow and vendor managements

· University degree in mechanical or chemical engineering



This multi-project environment is fast paced with competing priorities. It requires a highly self-motivated individual to actively move projects forward and keep them on track. To be successful in this position you need to be highly organized and have a solid understanding of what is required to design and manufacture custom equipment, as well as well as the ability to successfully manage people. Previous experience dealing with international customers and large engineering companies is an asset.
