Making a contribution to Nunavut by educating and sharing your knowledge in trades with other Nunavummiut is just one of the benefits of being an Instructor for Plumber program. The College is seeking a NLCA Beneficiary, with applicable trade Journeyman certification, to become a qualified instructor for this exciting program.



In partnership with the University of New Brunswick, we are offering an Adult Instructor's Certificate Program that starts in Rankin Inlet in the fall. This program will prepare the successful candidate to become a certified trades instructor. The candidate will be required to successfully undertake a one-year term of adult instructor training, to continue in this position.



The following position is available in the new Nunavut Trades Training Centre, located in Rankin Inlet, and is open to a qualified Journeyman who wishes to become instructor.



Instructor, Plumber Program



Staff housing is available for this position, which is included in the Nunavut Employees Union, and has a starting salary of $77,961. An annual Northern Living Allowance of $17,635 is also provided. The candidate in the Adult Instructor Certificate Program will receive a percentage of the annual salary during the training period.



If this position is not filled by a Nunavut Land Claims Beneficiary, it will be offered as a 3-year term position.
