Account Management
We are looking for a seasoned account manager who has a track record of managing customer and vendor relationships and overseeing the execution of deliverables on projects and services related to their accounts. This position would be approximately 80% inside account management and coordination and 20% outside relationship management. The candidate would be working in a fast passed growth company, and would need to bring with them accountability, independence, an innovative thought process and the ability to stay organized with large scope, national portfolios. As this is a dynamic position, changes to the responsibilities can be expected.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operations
*
Accountable for the overall management of day to day activity of each assigned portfolio.
*
Ensures that customer care members close off all outstanding items within their portfolios and complete their data input for all relevant reports
*
If/when a service failure or issue is escalated, responsible for bringing satisfactory resolve to the customer at a district, regional and or Head Office level
*
Identifies the strategy and schedule for customer relations with respect to proactive calling from customer care and the proactive calling and on site visits with regional and district managers from the account management post.

Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting with respect to the activity in their portfolio
*
Regional/national invoice processing reports
*
Regional/national profit/loss reports
*
Regional/national sustainability reports
*
Regional/national status and objective reports
*
Responsible for the project management and full execution of special projects and presentations as they relate to their portfolio
*
Ensures compliance of service with ministry regulations and predefined environmental goals
*
Responsible for vendor relationships with respect to services to the accounts. This refers to managing the process of setting up new services or dealing with escalated issues of service or pricing.

Implements account specific environmental measures, goals and initiatives that are established between the candidate, our sustainability R&D, business development, and the customer`s executive committee.
Business Development
*
Prepares presentations speaking to new regional or national launches of service or divisions
*
Responsible for the RFQ (request for quotation) process and analysis of new sites and launches
*
Responsible for pricing proposals of new services
*
Supports the role of the Executive head of business development
*
Brings forth up-sale opportunities
Qualifications
* Min 5 years experience in an account management type position
* Experience in the Waste Management industry is strong advantage
* A keen interest or background in environmental matters is a plus
* Strong sense of customer service and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)
* Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
* Proficiency with the MS suite of products(specifically Word, Excel & Power Point)
* Must have leadership skills and ability to work within a team
* Post secondary education
* Bilingual (French/English) is a plus but not a requirement
* Availability to travel is essential
