Title: Lumber handler - building supplies (NOC: 7452)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school, Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English
Work Setting: Retail and wholesale distribution centre
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Light trucks
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Make labels and attach to goods, Pack and unpack goods, Crate goods, Store cargo and materials, Maintain and organize inventory
Additional Skills: Ship orders, Customer service skills
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Drive manual transmission vehicle
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication
