Location: Port CoQuitlam, BC

Responsibilities: Supports Cab Electronics Products installed on customer locomotives. Provides system test, analysis, repair and modification of sophisticated locomotive control systems. Travel with customers on freight trains to train and mentor customer to utilize Cab-E products. Collect data from installled systems using emulation tools and other hardware/software tools. Track system issues through the incident, analysis, and corrective action phases. Maintain closed loop comunications with external and internal customers, provideding critical feedback throughout the issue resolution process. Operate 24x7 tech-support hotline on rotational basis. Manage material flow through the RMA process. Key interface with customer teams on site. Support Field Service Team Leadership and Program Managers to accomplish product and serive goals. Travel requirred.

Basic Qualifications: ASEET/BSEET or equivalent experience required. Knowledge of locomotive and/or trackside systems a plus. Must understands basic electronic theory, read and interpret schematic diagrams, test logic I/O circuits, analyze results and identify failures, remove and install sub-system components. Competent computer user familir with software emulation tools and MS Office applications. Team player with good interpersonal skills. Strong process discipline and eye for detail.

Desired Qualifications: Railroad experience, Six Sigma trained or Green Belt certified a plus but not necessary.
