Overview Our client is a mid sized Calgary based company specializing in concrete, forming, masonry and gravel for residential and commercial clients. Long established and respected, they are currently going through a centralization process that has resulted in an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Controller to join the group. This is a permanent role reporting to the CFO.
Responsibilities - Supervision of six staff
- Financial reporting
- Consolidations for 4 business units
- Cash management
- On-going process improvement
- Supervise AR, AP function
- Ad hoc projects assigned by CFO (ie, system implementation, IFRS conversion preparation)
Requirements - A recognized accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA)
- Previous supervisory experience
- Full cycle accounting
- Cost accounting experience
- Exposure to Timberline and IFRS an asset
- ability to multi-task

Compensation $90-95k

I want to say something about cash management that the cash management bill is the most flexible instrument because it can be issued when needed, allowing the Treasury to have lower cash balances and issue fewer long-term notes. Thanks for sharing this post.
