Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Completion of university

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French

Work Setting: Private practice

Area of Practice: Sports therapy, Orthopedics

Specific Skills: Assess patients' physical abilities, Administer evaluative tests and procedures, Plan physiotherapy programs, Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations, Maintain clinical and progress reports

Additional Skills: Supervise technical and support staff

Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Continuous learning
